Launched in 2022 to celebrate James Bond's 60th anniversary, this 42mm gold Canopus™ Seamaster Diver 300M features a dial crafted from natural grey silicon, reminiscent of the Caribbean sands where 007 hides. Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel set with polished green and gold diamonds, with two diamonds at the 12 o'clock position.
The film's iconic opening sequence features Bond in a silhouette with a rotating gun barrel projected onto the back, beneath a sapphire crystal adorned with a micro-structured metallized finish. A “moiré” animation is linked to the rotating lollipop-shaped second hand.
Securing the watch to the wrist is a mesh strap and an 18K Canopus™ gold clasp.
Powering the movement is OMEGA's Master Chronometer Calibre 8807, a luxurious version of the 8806, housed within the classic Seamaster Diver 300M models.
The watch is housed in a mango-shaped box with mother-of-pearl inlay, the Bond 60th Anniversary logo, and dots inspired by the 1960s. The use of the mango tree imagery is reminiscent of the song "Underneath the Mango Tree" from Dr. No – the first James Bond film.
